Soundtracks & Stanzas
September 28 at 8:30pm
Whether it be poetry written for the page, the stage, the silver screen, the poetry slam, or the melody, every poet plays with words and language to beguile, explain and entertain. Meet a new generation of Black Canadian poets who are pushing the possibilities and challenging the rules of language and music. Curated by Britta B., an award-winning artist, spoken word poet and performer; Soundtracks and Stanzas showcases Black Canadian poets, including Thyuntamable1, Shahaddah Jack and Testament, who will take us on a journey beyond the bounds of music and language.
