Don’t miss this opportunity to hear Canadian poet Lorna Crozier perform a reading of both her own poetry, and that of her late partner, Patrick Lane, one of Canada’s finest authors. Known for her lyrical style and reflection on the wisdom of the natural world, Crozier has received numerous awards, including the Governor General’s Award, for her 15 books of poetry, which include The Blue Hour of the Day, What the Living Won’t Let Go, Everything Arrives at the Light and Inventing the Hawk. Her latest book of poetry, The Quiet in Me: Poems, is a deeply personal meditation on the complicated art of existing.
