The Toronto Writers Collective (TWC) empowers the voices and illuminates the undiscovered strength in Toronto’s most vulnerable and disenfranchised communities. We have worked with TWC and A.F. Moritz, Toronto’s sixth Poet Laureate, to create a special video installation at Union Station capturing the strength and depth of TWC’s latest anthologies: Front Lines: Bent, Not Broken and Front Lines: Until The Words Run Pure.

The installation began on October 22 and ran on screens all day at Union Station for the duration of the Festival. If you were unable to visit in person, you can watch the beautiful video exploring the theme “Where I’m From” here:

Featured Authors

A. F. Moritz is widely considered one of the defining and most beloved lyric poets of his generation. His many honours include a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Award in Literature from the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters, the Griffin Poetry Prize, the Bess Hokin Prize and an Ingram Merrill Fellowship. He currently serves as the 6th poet laureate of the City of Toronto.
