David Bezmozgis

7:30pm

Wednesday, September 28, 2022

This year the Black Box session returns with a special live-streaming of the Humber School for Writers’ Love & Defiance podcast in celebration of HSW’s 30th Anniversary. Author, filmmaker and Humber School for Writers Director, David Bezmozgis, will speak with three Humber alumni who have lived extraordinary lives and turned that experience into art. Does one need to live boldly and unconventionally to write? What conscious and unconscious decisions shape a life and make a writer? In the spirit of NPR’s StoryCorps and This American Life, join us for an evening of intimate and revealing conversation. The onstage event will be followed by a catered party with cash bar.

Please note, as this event is being recorded, no latecomers will be admitted.

Date & Time: September 28 at 7:30pm ET
Where: Lakeside Terrace at Harbourfront Centre
Duration: 150 minutes
This event is free to attend with registration.
