Toronto’s Farzana Doctor and Britain’s Hollie McNish sit down for an intimate and frank exploration of female lives and sexuality through poetry. Doctor presents her latest collection, You Still Look the Same, which interrogates the oddness of sex and love from the point of view of women at mid-life, from dating and break-ups to racism and misogyny. McNish unveils Slug, a powerful and provocative collection of prose and poetry that holds a mirror up to birth, death and everything in-between, exposing the nakedness of the human condition in a most refreshing way.
