Economist Joshua Gans offers a recovery guide to the pandemic economy, in his new book, Economics in the Age of COVID-19, dubbed essential reading about the long-term implications of our current crisis. In this informative discussion, Gans will help you take a step back from the chaos, and understand the broader issues in play, by taking a systematic look at how economic choices are being made in response to COVID-19. He’ll outline the phases of the pandemic economy, from containment to reset to recovery and enhancement. Through this conversation, you’ll learn how containing the virus does not have to be a tradeoff between public health and economic stability.
