Between The Shorelines: Storying Indigenous Presence in Toronto

Launching Between The Shorelines: Storying Indigenous Presence in Toronto

October 22 at 11am

This event is no longer available for viewing.

Explore and engage with the Indigenous history of Toronto and reflect on its heritage in real time. Between the old shoreline of Lake Iroquois, and the contemporary shoreline of Lake Ontario and the Harbourfront, this series of virtual story tours will bring to the fore the importance of sharing, listening and witnessing Indigenous oral histories and truth-telling. Join us on October 22 at 11am ET for a special launch event for this series, where you will meet the creators of this programme live in conversation with TIFA Director Roland Gulliver, and learn more about the project.

This special event will take place here, on FestivalofAuthors.ca, while subsequent events of this series will take place virtually via Zoom. Please visit the Festival Calendar to find dates and register for Between The Shorelines virtual events, taking place through to October 30, 2020.

Presented in partnership with First Story Toronto and the University of Toronto.
