This awards presentation and reception celebrates emerging writers from the Creative Writing Program at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Over $10,000 in prize money will be presented to the winners of three awards: The Penguin Random House Canada Student Award for Fiction, The Janice Colbert Poetry Award, and The Marina Nemat Award for top Certificate Final Project in Creative Non-Fiction, Children’s Writing, Writing in Spanish and Multi-Genre. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
