Anosh Irani

Anosh Irani’s novel, The Parcel, was a finalist for the Governor General’s Literary Award, the Rogers Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize, and the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize. His anthology, The Bombay Plays: The Matka King & Bombay Black, was a finalist for the 2007 Governor General’s Literary Award for Drama. Bombay Black won the Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding New Play. His play, The Men in White, was a finalist for the 2018 Governor General’s Literary Award. His latest play, Buffoon, won the 2020 Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding New Play. His latest book, Translated from the Gibberish: Seven Stories and One Half Truth, was published in India and Canada.
