Development Coordinator
Toronto International Festival of Authors

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Development Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Director and Deputy Director to develop (multiyear and/or project based) programming strategies and funding schemes to further the mission of the organization. They will assist the Director and Deputy Director in developing programming initiatives with international partners. While keeping abreast with trends in the arts and culture industry and are knowledgeable of pertinent municipal, provincial, federal and international cultural policies. The incumbent will be drafting contracts and agreements, maintain all government and foundation grants, as well as research and apply for new grants. The Development Coordinator will also prepare follow-up reports to funding bodies as required and help keep staff informed of project grant requirements, both at the programming and sponsorship recognition levels.
