  • Nadia L. Hohn

    Nadia L. Hohn is a Toronto-based educator and author of six books: Music and Media in the Sankofa series, Malaika's Costume, Malaika's Winter CarnivalHarriet Tubman: Freedom Fighter and her newest picture book A Likkle Miss Lou about the Jamaican poet, Louise Bennett-Coverley is a celebration of this cultural icon in time for her 100th annivesary.  Her next Malaika’s Surprise will be published in 2021.  In 2019, Nadia was a touring in Alberta as a presenter in the TD Canada Children's Book Week and the writer in residence at Joy Kogawa House in Vancouver, British Columbia. Nadia is on the planning team of the new children's literary event, Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD) Kids Book Fest.

  • Nantali Indongo

    Nantali Indongo is the host of CBC Montreal's provincial arts and culture program, The Bridge, Saturdays on CBC Radio One and arts contributor for CBC Montreal. She's also member of Nomadic Massive, a multilingual hip hop group based in Montreal. A graduate of University of Ottawa and Humber College, Nantali has shared her knowledge of music and culture as a community educator and public speaker.

    New York Times bestselling author Tayari Jones is the author four novels, most recently An American Marriage. She is a graduate of Spelman College, University of Iowa and Arizona State University and a Professor of Creative Writing at Emory University.
